John Denver Tribute Band
John Denver was one of the biggest names in music between 1973-1977. He was known for his incredible music and his extremely large fan following. He dominated the charts and will always be remembered for his unique style and great personality. After John’s passing, lead guitarist Steve Weisberg continued playing John Denver Tribute concerts all over the country. The audience wanted the wonderful sound of John Denver and craved the live sound of his most popular songs. While this is what they came for, they ended up enjoying many of the stories Weisberg had to share about his many experiences with John. Read more
President Obama pardons Larry Craig
President Obama, in a surprise move intent on extending an olive branch to Republicans after a bitter partisan fight over health care reform, has granted a presidential pardon to Larry Craig, the ex-senator from Idaho. Craig pleaded guilty in 2007 to disorderly conduct after being arrested in the men’s room at the Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport on suspicion of lewd conduct. Read more
South Korean woman passes licensing test on 950th attempt
Cha Sa-Soon, a 68 year old South Korean woman, passed the written test for her driver’s license on the 950th attempt. Sa-Soon had been trying to pass the written portion of the licensing requirement since April, 2005 and has spent a total of $4,200 in all her attempts. Keep in mind that the passing score for the written test is a mere 60%. Read more

Max, our 25 year old Yellow-Naped Amazon, has quite a vocabulary which he often uses in the proper context. For example, Max will say “bye bye” as he sees we are getting ready to leave the house.
