Coming soon! The Beatles catalog on USB

Available in stores on December 8th, ironically the 29th anniversary of John Lennon’s assassination, the entire digitally remastered Beatles catalog on an apple-shaped USB device. With a retail price of $298.98, the catalog is available at Amazon at a pre-order price of $238.99.

According to The Official Beatles Shop, the 16GB flash drive will contain “14 stereo titles, as well as all of the re-mastered CDs’ visual elements, including 13 mini-documentary films about the studio albums, replicated original UK art, rare photos and expanded liner notes“. The audio contents will be both in 320kbs MP3s and FLAC formats, the latter using lossless compression for maximum audio quality.
