Happy Holidays! U.S. Navy to give away aircraft carrier

Last Monday, the Naval Sea Systems Command, NavSea, announced that it will be donating the decommissioned aircraft carrier John F. Kennedy for use as a museum ship. Initial applications are due by January 22nd, 2010. If turned into a museum, the JFK would be the first super-carrier to be displayed. There are currently five active aircraft carrier museums in the United States. Read more
