I moved to Colorado a little over 3 years ago from Washington state, having lived there for 17 years. I moved to Washington from California, where I essentially grew up. In California, there are no blue laws. In Washington, liquor sales are prohibited on Sunday, but beer and wine are still available. Read more
South Korean woman passes licensing test on 950th attempt
Cha Sa-Soon, a 68 year old South Korean woman, passed the written test for her driver’s license on the 950th attempt. Sa-Soon had been trying to pass the written portion of the licensing requirement since April, 2005 and has spent a total of $4,200 in all her attempts. Boise State Broncos unable to find an opponent, but I have a suggestion
According to a story published today by Yahoo! Sports, Boise State athletic director Gene Bleymaier is unable to find a major opponent to play his Broncos, including a team in either the SEC or Big Ten. Unemployment hits 10.2% for October. What's behind that number?
The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today that the unemployment rate jumped to 10.2% in October, the highest figure since April, 1983. Of the 190,000 jobs lost, the largest losses were in construction, manufacturing, and retail trade.
