Terms and Conditions
A deposit of 50% of the estimated Web design fees are due prior to starting a project. The balance is due upon completion of the project.
Web hosting fees are paid three months in advance. This would include email aliases and secure server fees. A one time set up fee is charged for secure server access. If we design your Web site, you are not required to have The Upper Deck host it.
If Web hosting fees should become more than 15 days past due, the subdirectory will be deleted off the Web server. A $25.00 fee will be incurred to restore the subdirectory should past due payment be received.
There is a $25.00 fee for checks returned for any reason.
Spam. The Upper Deck defines "spam" as the sending of unsolicited commercial email, or inappropriate newsgroup postings. If The Upper Deck is hosting your Web site, you will not be allowed to advertise in such a manner that can be interpreted as "spamming". Violation of this rule will be dealt with severely including and up to immediate cancellation of your subdirectory on the Web server without refund. The Upper Deck will have the final say on what is considered a violation. If you are in doubt, please contact us about appropriate advertising methods. We want you to be successful, yet responsible.
Like any other computers, Web servers and mail servers experience down time. Unfortunately, this is a fact of life in the Information Age. The Upper Deck will not be held liable for any consequential damages arising from such down time.
If your Web site is hosted with The Upper Deck, we will register your Web site with several major search engines. However, we cannot guarantee how your Web site will be scored by the search engines.
The terms and conditions are subject to change.
