  1. There are currently about 56 million people using the internet in the United States right now and that figure is growing rapidly every year. Many people are now comfortable with buying goods and services over the internet. The internet is also being used to find local businesses much like the way that people have traditionally used the Yellow Pages. Back to questions.

  2. Absolutely not. In a recent study of ten corporate Web sites, Web surfers preferred the Web site that cost the least to build. The most expensive Web site was rated the lowest. Select this link to see the article written by a major online publication. Back to questions.

  3. No. If you have Web space available on another server, by all means use it. However, The Upper Deck will not host Web sites that are created elsewhere since the space on our Web server is reserved for our customers. Back to questions.

  4. If we host your Web site, we will register it with several major search engines. The Upper Deck will also provide you with tips on how to promote your Web site. Back to questions.

  5. An order form will be created for you on a secure server. You will be given a user name and password to view any transactions made on the server. Your customers will be able to conduct business with you in confidence. You can see an example of a secure order form here. Notice the little icon in the bottom bar of your Web browser as you view the sample form. Back to questions.

  6. You will not need to be concerned. By optimizing Web sites for a particular browser, accessibilty to the Web site is being compromised. This is not a wise thing for a business to do. The Upper Deck will create a Web site for you that will look as consistent as possible in most browsers being used today. It simply makes no sense for a business to exclude a substantial number of customers from being able to view it's Web site. Back to questions.
